Meet the Cast and Crew of

HAMLET

 

A.D. Newcomer

A.D. Newcomer (Director, Sound Design, Co-Fight Director, Player King, Other):
A.D. would like to dedicate this production to her fellow Player King Kevin Monsell and to her Othello Justin Harris. She would LOVE to thank her Hamlello comrades and the Board. 

 

Amy Ippolito

Amy Ippolito (She/Her) (Hamlet) is beyond thrilled to be back with her beloved Northeast Stage. She was last seen playing Isabella from Measure for Measure in 2019. Since then, Amy moved to Virginia, received two master’s degrees in Shakespeare and Acting and worked at the American Shakespeare Center as an understudy for a year, where she had the joy to go on for Rosalind in As You Like It  and Belle from A Christmas Carol. Now she works at The Wayne Theatre where she is an actor and education artist and loves it. She firmly believes that home isn’t a place, it's the people you surround yourself with. And when Amy first fell into this beautiful company in 2017 she never felt more at home. Leaving was hard, but it made the homecoming that much sweeter. Thank you for trusting and supporting me,none of me would be possible without y’all. 

 

Andy O'Brien

Andy O'Brien (Guildenstern) is looking forward to his first appearance at Northeast Stage as Guildenstern. This will also be the first Shakespeare play he has acted in. He has previously appeared in several North Fork Community Theater productions, including One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall, The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui, Sunday in the Park with George, A Catered Affair, Wonder of the World, and most recently, Follies.

 

Aurora White

Aurora White (Player) is a dancer and student, who will be a sixth grader this fall. She has been dancing since she was three, and studies ballet, tap, lyrical and hip hop.  Aurora made her Shakespearean debut last fall in Macbeth as Fleance and Little Duff.  She is excited to be working with her mom again this summer.  Thank you to AD for the opportunity and all of the cast for their encouragement.  

 

Christian Lepore

Christian Lepore (Claudius) is happy to be back with Northeast Stage, having last appeared as the eponymous tyrant in Macbeth. Some of his other favorite productions include Lady Throckmortonshire in Chemical Imbalance, half of Tuna, TX, in A Tuna Christmas, Thomas Cromwell in Wolf Hall, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged),
Tartuffe in Tartuffe, Rev. T. Lawrence Shannon in Night of the Iguana, Norman in The Dresser, multiple roles in multiple productions of Twelfth Night, Jerry in The Zoo Story andGeorge Spelvin in The Actor’s Nightmare. He is a founding member of Corchaug Repertory Theatre and recently directed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) for them in conjunction with Northeast Stage.

 

Colin Palmer

Colin Palmer (Ghost): Colin is honored to be a part of this company, especially after the last-minute pivot of productions. Past Shakespearean roles include Richard of Gloucester (Richard III), Malvolio (Twelfth Night), Christopher Sly (The Taming of the Shrew), and Saturninus (Titus Andronicus). www.colinpalmer.org

 

Esmeralda Cabrera

Esmeralda Cabrera (Ophelia) is excited to be working with Northeast Stage once again! From East Quogue, NY, she was last seen in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum(Hampton Theater Company) and The Chalk Garden (Boots on the Ground Theater). Recent film credit includes I Appreciate your Concern by Jim Morrison. She would like to thank A.D, the cast, crew and Nicholas for their immense support during this process. Instagram: @ezmerara

 

Jeanne Arnold

Jeanne Arnold (Cornelia/Messenger/Player Queen): Jeanne is thrilled to be performing in Hamlet- her third Shakespeare production with Northeast Stage, all of which have been directed by the amazing AD Newcomer. She was Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew in summer of 2022, and also appeared in Macbeth in the fall of 2023. This year Jeanne joined the board of Northeast Stage. Jeanne is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MA in Russian Language and Literature. She attended graduate programs in Moscow and in Nice, France and does simultaneous interpreting. She taught languages for many years, at the high school and college levels. As a classically trained singer, Jeanne led and sang lead vocals in many rock bands. She plays piano and synths, and loves acting in musicals. Most recently- The Producers at NFCT in 2022. She recently stage managed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Jeanne thanks AD, the entire production team, and this awesome cast!  Enjoy! Thank you for supporting local theatre.

 

John Bradley

John Bradley (Horatio): John is glad to be back at Northeast Stage and to be working with this wonderful cast!
Some of his favorite roles have included Billy Cane (Bright Star) with the RFCT, Rafe Sadler (Wolf Hall) at the NFCT,
and here at Northeast Stage Duke Vincentio (Measure for Measure), Sir Andrew Aguecheek (Twelfth Night),
Hortensio (Taming of the Shrew), and most recently a Weird Sister (Macbeth).

 

Michael Colt

Michael Colt (Barnardo/Player/Reynaldo/Captain): Michael would like to thank Northeast Stage and the theatre going community of the North Fork for its continued support of live theatre in the area.  Over the last couple of years Michael has appeared in The Laramie Project, Dolls House Part Two, and It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. He greatly appreciates his cast members' and director's faith and encouragement in this production.

 

Nicholas Auletti

Nicholas Auletti (Marcellus / Player/ Clown (Gravedigger) is an actor, director, and playwright
from East Quogue, NY. He graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from Lycoming College. Most recently he was Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hampton Theatre Company), McDuff in Macbeth (Northeast Stage) and Ernie, Bert, Harry, and Mr. Welsh in It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Northeast Stage). Previous acting credits include Plodgett in Chemical Imbalance (boots on the ground theater), Franz Liebkind in The Producers (NFCT), Jedidiah Shultz, Matt Galloway, and Russell Henderson in The Laramie Project (NFCT), Valdez in Jesus Hopped The ‘A’ Train (Unworldly Ensemble), Miles in She Kills Monsters (Theatre-Off Kilter), and Michael Evans in Dancing at Lughnasa (Lycoming College). His works that have been produced are In The Wee Small Hours (Theatre-Off Kilter),
Pharmacy Jesus (Unworldly Ensemble), and Over and Under the Wings of Vultures (Corchaug Repertory Theatre). Nick is grateful for the friendly cast and crew for guiding him throughout this processand would also like to thank his friends, family, and Esme for all their support.

 

Peter Peterson

Peter Peterson (Laertes/Fight Director): Peter is excited to be performing with Northeast Stage again. Recent performances include Macbeth, Twelfth Night and Measure for Measure. He thanks his family and friends for their continued love and support. 

 

Rebekah White

Rebekah White (Gertrude) is a teacher, singer, actress, co-founder of RW Stage Art, and is on the board of NE Stage. She holds a BS in Music from Adelphi University and an MA in Elementary Ed from Western Governors University Her favorite roles have included:  Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Ariel in The Tempest, Carol in Oleanna, Anna in Boston Marriage, Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along, Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Ophelia in Hamlet, Princess in Love's Labour's Lost, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Jacques in As You Like It, Maria in Twelfth Night, and the title role in Anna Christie. Her greatest role to date though, has been being mom to her son Quint and daughter Aurora. She is especially excited and proud to be acting with Aurora in this production! Thank you to AD and the entire cast for their dedication.

 

Steven Lepore

Steven Lepore (Rosencrantz): Steven is known mostly for his work in Philadelphia at the Allen's Lane Art Center in “Talk radio”, as well as last year’s Macbeth. He has been expanding his skills and career onto the community theatre of the North Fork.

 

Stuart Whalen
Stuart Whalen (Polonius/English Ambassador): Previous Northeast Stage credits include Senor Baptista
(Taming of the Shrew), Antonio (The Tempest), and Mr. Potter in (It’s a Wonderful Life).  Stu also performs with the North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck.  Recent NFCT credits include Ben Stone (Follies), Jules (Sunday in the Park with George), Fr. Schmidt (Laramie Project), Stu also sang 8 seasons with the Amore Opera in NYC, singing Angelotti (Tosca), Baron Duphol (La Traviata), Valentine (Faust), Captain (HMS Pinafore), and Schnaurd (La Boheme).  Love to Anne and this cast and crew

 

Wendy Peterson

Wendy Peterson (Osric/Francisco): This is Wendy’s fourth time performing with Northeast Stage. She last appeared as Malcolm in Macbeth and before that as Viola in their production of Twelfth Night. She is so grateful for the opportunity to work with this wonderfully talented group of actors, and she hopes you enjoy the show.
